The backup singer
The photo from which this image was taken was photographed at the event Vista Lights in Columbia, SC. The original photo shows three women holding microphones singing. I've looked at that photo dozen of times, but only ever really focused on the woman singing in the middle. I never really saw the shorter singer to the right. Almost like she was throwing shade at the lead singer; impatient for her part.
