"The Three-Headed Monster." Mixed media on paper, 22"x30."

 

Maybe you recognize Adrien Brody here. I used three different photos I found of him as reference for this painting. The idea is that starting from the left and going to the right, is a snippet of story. He's deep in some kind of thinking, brooding, worry, something heavy. Then is interrupted. something for an instant takes his attention from whatever his mind is caught up in. And once that interruption is over, he goes right back to whatever is consuming his thoughts.
